San Diego, CA – Reno Contracting, a leading build-to-suit general contractor in Southern California, hosted its Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Rancho Bernardo Inn on Wednesday, June 4th benefiting the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station. The tournament was a huge success with a complete sell out and sponsorship at an all-time high.
Golfer and wounded Veteran, PFC Doug Bauldwin summed up the day, “I have never had the chance to talk to or golf with so many people who work to make America Strong…sort of like we do in a different way.”
The Warrior Foundation aims to be the leading force in assisting, honoring and supporting the military men and women who have so bravely served and sacrificed for our Country. They are committed to supporting our Warriors by providing quality of life items and support services designed to assist them and their families during recovery.
This year’s tournament raised over $32,000 for the Foundation and among other necessities, will enable the purchase of several ultralight wheelchairs for the Veterans.
A sincere THANK YOU to all participants and Sponsors. It’s with their generosity that this event has been able to continue and be successful year after year.
